German Summer Camp 2026
June 29 -July 24 , for ages 3-12
Time: Monday-Friday, 9 am - 3 pm
Location: Berkwood Hedge campus, 1809 Bancroft Way, Berkeley (one block west of Berkeley High)
Our full-immersion German summer camp takes place on the beautiful Berkwood Hedge campus in Berkeley with spacious classrooms and a great outdoor space. Our curriculum is hands-on and includes singing, playing, acting, history. music, cooking, arts and crafts, field trips and many outdoor activities. Each age group is led by a native German teacher with experience in instructing various levels. The teachers will be supported by assistants, many of whom are former campers themselves. Because our camp is full immersion, it is best-suited for children with at least basic understanding skills in German. There is a Counselor-in-Training program for high school students (entering 8th grade or higher).
Camp can be booked for two separate 2-week sessions. Tuition rates for 5-12 year olds are as follows:
$970 for Session 1 (June 29-July 10; no camp on July 3rd)
$1,075 for Session 2 (July 13-24)
$1,950 for both sessions (June 29-July 24)
$2,350 for 4 weeks full-time (9AM-6PM)
