German Summer Camp 2024

July 1-26, for ages 3-12

Time: Monday-Friday, 9 am - 3 pm
Location: Berkwood Hedge campus, 1809 Bancroft Way, Berkeley (one block west of Berkeley High)

Our full-immersion German summer camp takes place on the beautiful Berkwood Hedge campus in Berkeley with spacious classrooms and a great outdoor space. Our curriculum is hands-on and includes singing, playing, acting, history. music, cooking, arts and crafts, field trips and many outdoor activities. Each age group is led by a native German teacher with experience in instructing various levels. The teachers will be supported by assistants, many of whom are former campers themselves. Because our camp is full immersion, it is best-suited for children with at least basic understanding skills in German. There is a Counselor-in-Training program for high school students (entering 9th grade or higher).

Camp can be booked for two separate 2-week sessions. Tuition rates are as follows:

  • $720 for Session 1 (July 1-12; no camp on July 4th)

  • $800 for Session 2 (July 15-26)

  • $1,500 for both sessions (July 1-26)
